Playthepoint Inc.,
and our website www.playlongpoint.com, were founded to
introduce individuals to the natural beauty and diverse activities
on Ontario's South Coast. As long time cottagers at Long Point
we have grown to love this community for all it has to offer,
and along with enjoying our experiences we've acquired prime
cottages throughout Long Point which offer clean and comfortable
accomodations. These cottages are a haven from which to venture
out and enjoy all that the area has to offer.
After years of renting these cottages
we found visitors were not aware of all the activities that go
on year round in the Long Point area. We decided to introduce
Spring and Fall packages that include activities with dining
options and other attractions. We've incorporated these activities
into full holiday packages so you can simply book your whole
holiday ahead of time and spend more of your holiday enjoying.
We've visited the local golf courses, restaurants, diners, conservation
areas, fishing charters, and more to choose the best each has
to offer. Along with negotiating special rates we've developed
holiday packages which offer fun, feast, and value.
Our goal at Playthepoint Inc. is to
organize activities to introduce people to the new kind of eco-tourism
that leaves us with an appreciation for Ontario. Whether it is
how the food is grown, the maritime history of Lake Erie, or
the success story of cleaning up the Great Lakes, this knowledge
guides us in how we will act as consumers and how we treat our
planet.
